Naming People, Places, Things, and Ideas

Nouns are words that name people, places, things, animals, and ideas. We already know nouns like 'boy', 'school', and 'cat'. But nouns can be sorted into special groups. Some nouns name feelings we cannot touch, like 'love'. Some name groups, like 'team'. Some name materials, like 'gold'. Learning these groups helps us use nouns correctly.
