Mass tells how heavy something is. We measure it in grams (g) and kilograms (kg).
โข A small thing (a chocolate) is measured in grams.
โข A heavy thing (a school bag, a watermelon) is measured in kilograms.
โข 1 kg = 1000 g
We weigh things on a balance or a weighing scale.

Capacity โ Millilitres & Litres
Capacity tells how much liquid a container can hold. We measure it in millilitres (ml) and litres (L).
โข A spoon or a glass holds a few millilitres.
โข A bottle or a bucket holds litres.
โข 1 litre = 1000 ml
